FAQ
How to read stock information and how to buy online.
What is gacha (gashapon)?
Gacha are capsule toy vending machines found all over Japan. Insert coins, turn the handle, and get one random item from the series. Most machines take ¥100 coins only, so bring change.
How accurate is the stock information?
We collect stock information from shops regularly. Items can sell out or be restocked between updates, so treat it as a guide. Each item page shows when the information was collected.
Is my location sent anywhere?
No. Your location is only used on your own device to calculate the distance to each shop. It is never stored or sent to our server or anyone else.
What if no shop nearby has it?
Use the Amazon Japan or Rakuten buttons on the item page to look for complete sets. New releases are often restocked in shops a few days later.
Can I use a credit card at gacha machines?
Most machines take coins only. Many dedicated gacha shops have change machines, and some newer machines accept IC cards such as Suica.
